Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement

Icenhower Oil and Gas provides a safe work environment for all of its employees, subcontractors, and clients. Safe working conditions are achieved through efficient communication, hazard analysis, and continuous training. In addition, Icenhower Oil & Gas will adhere to all regulatory requirements, (state, federal, and local), and where these regulations are insufficient, will work to maintain best-industry practices.

Icenhower Oil & Gas believes that all injures are preventable; therefore, we will continually strive to prevent injuries, spills, and releases from occurring. Management also recognizes that every employee shares in the responsibility for safety and environmental management on the job. Consequently, safe work practices, and timely reporting of incidents and potential accidents (i.e., near misses, unsafe conditions, and spills and releases) are a condition of employment.

Everyone is encouraged to provide suggestions and establish high personal goals for eliminating accidents, injuries, spills, and releases. Participation in the meetings to discuss the safety and environmental aspects of each assignment is mandatory. If the source of a hazard cannot be eliminated, the use of special procedures, safety devices, or protective equipment and clothing must be utilized to reduce the exposure potential; if these measures cannot sufficiently reduce the potential for harm, then the job will not be performed.

Icenhower Oil & Gas will take a proactive approach to conducting the health, safety and environmental program. Incidents, near misses, spills, and releases will be investigated, and the pertinent information that is uncovered during the investigation will be distributed or discussed during the following safety meeting.

Strategic HSE Objectives

The Icenhower Oil and Gas HSE Management System defines the elements by which we will conduct our operations in order to protect our people, our property and the environment in which we work.

The HSE Management System is comprised of seven interrelated elements with underlying expectations:

  1. Commitment and Leadership
  2. Policies and Objectives
  3. Organization, Resources and Documentation
  4. Risk Evaluation and Management
  5. Planning
  6. Implementation, Recording and Monitoring
  7. Audit and Review

Each area communicates these expectations to all employees and third parties associated with our business. Each area provides positive evidence of conformance to this Management System and continuous improvement.

Icenhower communicates these expectations to all employees and sub-contractors.
